It is now a Micro cache (35mm canister), transparent with a
yellow paper inside. It is located in the Guincho area and the
location is fairly obvious. You can explore the area and
contemplate the view as the water hits the rocks down there. The
sea is nature at its best, being wonderful and demanding respect at
the same time. Take pictures and post them here if you can.
The cache is so small that all it has is:
- log book (or shall I say ‘log roll’)
- pencil
- sharpener
- geocaching information
If the weather is fine and you feel like a good 20min hike for
the most amazing view of the Guincho area, please visit the spot
where the Guincho Yellow Cache used to be, following these
directions:
1. Park your car and start your 500m hike at waypoint N 38º
44.272 , W 9º 28.175.
2. Your goal is to get to the “geodesic marker” at waypoint N 38º
44.186. W 9º 27.900. Once there, take time to enjoy the view!
