Trade Bead Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

leonata: With great sadness, I am pulling this cache. This is the first cache I ever hid, and I'm very attached to it, but there is now a sign at the trailhead now saying geocaching is not permitted. I was in the area today and removed the container. Thanks to all the people that visited it and enjoyed this great place.

Geocache Description:

The coordinates were set with 7 satellites fixed and 18 feet accuracy. The cache is in a clear, square plastic container. The lid has a blue rim.

This is a theme cache. The idea behind it is that you bring beads to trade for beads that are in the cache. However, since not everyone is into beads the way I am, I have included some other items in the cache as well. These include foreign coins from my travels and some little lizards. There are coins from France, Germany, Norway, England, Switzerland, Denmark, Canada, Mexico and Zaire.

If you don't have beads to trade in, that's fine. This is only a loose theme; leave what you've got. Be warned though, the dimensions of this cache are fairly small--6 inches square and 3 inches deep.

The surrounding area is lovely for strolling and viewing wildlife--especially birds. Bring your binoculars and bird books and brush up on your waterfowl identification.
