Geocache Description:

The cache is located approximaely .5 miles from the entrance/parking lot of Willow Brook Farm in Pembroke, Massachusetts. The lot is on Rt. 14. Most of the short trek is over old cart path.

You might go through an area containing the nests of the only mound building ant native to New England the "Alleghany Mound Builder" Also known as "Formica Exsectoides". At least that is what the sign says. Leave the ants and their mounds alone. You will find an old rotted out stump at the coordinates. Stuffed into the stump is a white Screw top bottle which I hope will be watertight. Be advised that this is a very rich stash!!!

It has items to numerous to list but includes Buffalo Nickles..A Mercury Dime..A NEW CHapstick. A Bic..THe real prize howerver is a day fishing trip on Capt. John's Boats out of Plymouth Mass. Won't do you much good until next spring, But what the heck. I had to fashion a log book with paper and staples, but if someone would be kind enough to throw in a small (3X5) notebook, they will find a dollar bill as reimbursement. Great place for a mellow trek with very little brush busting. I also the property has one of the largest stands of north American Ironwood going. Saw lots of deer sign to. The next cache I hide will be far more difficult because off the beaten trail is what I prefer.
