Geocache Description:

A three leg multi-cache that visits major military ruins of Conanicut Island.

Welcome to the War Tour of Jamestown! This three leg multi-cache is an excellent bike tour or can be linked by car. Look for a blue topped tupperware container that will give you directions to the next site. "Prizes" are contained in each cache should you decide to cut the trip short or break it up into seperate outings. If you decide to bike or run this mutli-cache the entire loop totals about 8 miles. Expect some thorns and underbrush. To fully appreciate the historical background of the cache sites check out Walter Schroder's book: Defenses of Narragansett Bay in World War II.
