Over the years my family have been on lots of holidays to some strange and wonderful places and we have met some strange and wonderful people. Whilst I hate to play favourites, I have compiled below some photos of the most memorable people that we have met whilst holidaying...

(above) Whilst holidaying in the US, I was feeling a bit lonely away from all my friends, so we left the trail and headed to the top of the steps where we met this family. I became friends with this dude called Glenn (the tallest one) he was also holidaying with his parents and was missing his friends back home too.A LONELY DUDE TOO

(above) Also whilst holidaying in the US, in the deep south we met this lovely family from Iowa. The salesman at the travel agent had talked them into a horse riding adventure, even though all four of their kids were allergic to animals.A SALESMAN OVERSIGHT

(above) Whilst holidaying in South Africa we met this group of 4 mighty men and a lovely lady called Rita. Rita wanted to be mighty too, she tried hard to be mighty.SHES NEEDED A MIGHTINESS

(above) One day whilst travelling the back blocks of Mexico we came across this family, the O'briens. They were a well-dressed family except for the son, Ed who insisted on wearing an ugly blue hat all the time.SKIP THE BLUE HAT ED

(above) Margary and her three children were lovely. We met them on our tour of Yellowstone. The father, Bob was not a nice man, he spent the whole day being grumpy after the tie that he had purchased the week before at a thrift shop tore in two.TORN A SECOND HAND TIE

(above) Whilst touring the Greek Isles we met Ed Mouton, he was a funny fellow, quick witted and smart. Turns out he was a criminal too. Upon leaving the boat he was arrested.DETAIN ED MOUTON

(above) This was an amazing spot in Switzerland where we met the Holts, a lovely family with great notions. The truth is we spent the whole mornning at this spot yelling things out and listening to the echos bounce around.TRUTHS NOTIONS ARE ECHOED

(above) In a small playground in the north of England we met little James and his twin brother John. James was always a poser for a photo, but John would scream and cry until you put the camera away.THE TWIN DEMANDS OUT

(above) It was whilst holidaying in Canada that we came across the Corothers family who were also holidaying there. The local ranger told us that due to Global Warming the river systems had raised in tempurature by quite a few degrees and hence the otters had overheated and died. I don't think he knew what he was talking about, we saw plenty of otters during our trip.NOT A DECREASE IN HOT OTTERS

(above) The Redmond family were a nice lot, although a bit strange. We met them whilst holidaying in Paris. They had a hotel room that they all stayed at during the night, but between sun-up and sun down they all holidayed seperately. At the end of the day, where ever they all were they would all meet back at the hotel for dinner and go to sleep.TOGETHER TILL SUNS UP

(above) Terry and Jane seemed to be a wild couple. We met them in Berlin and they partied all night long. During the day though, it was a different story. Jane wasa Librarian and Terry was an IT consultant who enjoyed crochet.HE CROCHET GEEK

(above) We met the Anderson family in Hawaii. They were lovely people, although quite poor. Harry Anderson was a courier who was very good at his job. Harry had won the Ace award for the best service in his company for the last forty months in a row. As a reward his boss had given him an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii!FORTY ACE COURIER

(above) Jo was a tour guide on the Great Lakes, he was very good at his job and was extremely informative although he was a bit short tempered. He had no time for the tourists from Europe and would yell obscenities at them.HE WILL YELL EURO TWIT

(above) The Johnson's were a strange family. They also had a son called Ed who liked wearing a blue hat. We met them whilst swimming with Sharks, but their son Ed got eaten by one.ED ONE GOT YOU

(above) The Lowder family were always trying to invent fun things to do. The issue was that the things they came up with were never much fun.MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUN
