Welcome to Tarrywile Park. Please park in lot entering the main trail, toward the red silo. The cache is a traditional lock and lock.
This cache is near the old dairy farm silo. I am placing this cache as part of my Girl Scout Gold award project. I am proud to have been a scout for 10 years. Please read the history of the old dairy farm which I have researched, sign on the silo. Also, please check out the children's garden with the kids. I have added to the nature walk there, a scavenger hunt and informational nature signs. Its a beautiful garden, complete with trolls! Congratulations to the Girl Scouts of the USA, on their 100th anniversary, 2012. It was founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912 in Savannah, Georgia. GSUSA aims to empower girls and to help teach values such as honesty, fairness, courage, compassion, character, sisterhood, confidence, and citizenship through activities including camping, community service, learning first aid, and earning badges by acquiring other practical skills. Girl Scout's achievements are recognized through rank advancement and by various special awards. I have had a great experience, learning many skills preparing me for my adulthood. This is a traditional cache, loaded with travel bugs. The terrain is very steep, could be treacherous in winter months. Good luck on your journey. Stay safe ! FTF gets Signal TB and $1.00. !
