Smuk je 547m visoka planota nad Semičem. V preteklosti je bila tam kapela smuških graščakov Lichtenbergov, kar potrjujeta družinski grb na prižnici in kamnita nagrobna plošča v tlaku cerkve. Zahodno od cerkve stojijo razvaline graščine Smuk. V neposredni bližini cerkve stoji hrast z bujno krošnjo, ki v obsegu meri 350 cm. Na Smuku je obnovljen lovski dom, pri katerem se lahko okrepčate. Smuk predstavlja lovcem, športnikom rekreativcem in ljubiteljem narave priložnost za sprostitev ob koncu tedna, vzletišče jadralnih padalcev in zmajarjev pa privablja ljubitelje tega športa iz cele Slovenije.

Smuk is a 547m high plain above Semič. In the past there was lord Lichtenbergs chapel, which is confirmed by family crest in the pulpit and the gravestone in the pavement of the church. West of the church are standing the ruins of the mansion Smuk. Near the church stands the oak tree with rich crown, to the extent that measures 350 cm. On the Smuk is a renovated hunting lodge where you can refresh yourself. Smuk is a hunter, recreational athletes and nature lovers chance to relax on weekends. It attracts fans of paragliders and hangglider pilots from all over Slovenia.
