Geocache Description:

Dedicated to the caching team of mxcr and LL100. We wanted to return the favor you have given us of taking us through the mountains and showing us places we would never have seen. We hope you enjoy this one.

This is a 3 stage caching adventure, centered in the upper Tallulah River Gorge area. This multi highlights 3 waterfalls in this very scenic area. If you fish make sure to bring your pole, lots of nice spots to drop a line.

Both stage 1 & 2 are small containers with parking and cache coords for the next stage. Please write them down and DO NOT remove coords from the containers. Please rehide containers as found for the next cacher.

Your journey starts on FS70 the Tallulah Rver road in North Georgia. Stage 1 parking coords are on the north side of a bridge that crosses the river. Once parked cross back over the bridge and look to your left for blue tape in the trees marking the way up. Stage 1 has no water crossings. It is only .13 miles from parking(bridge#4) but has a 300ft elevation change. The first 50 or so feet are the worst.
A wise man will send a young man up first with a rope.

Print out the hint pics and take them with you, might need them, no cell phones here. Once at stage 2, cross the creek, continue up the trail, take the right fork.
do not take the faint trail to the right at stage 2 parking, which goes up the right side of the creek, the correct trail is on the left side of the creek.note:there maybe campers at stage 3 parking area.
you can cross at the old road bed which is low water crossing.
the old overgrown road will get you close to the final but im not sure how much of a bshwhack it may be.

Though this series highlights waterfalls there is no need to climb up or on the waterfalls,as always excercise caution when visiting waterfalls.
All stages are placed a safe distance away.

Small note: As required by the USFS for caches hidden in the Chattahoochee National Forest the cache is prominently labeled as a geocache and the label includes the GC25YX6 waypoint number and the owner's e-mail address. Enjoy!
