Geocache Description:

Grab a seat in this nice secluded spot, and I'll tell you a little story of when I was a young whipper snapper.

Some time ago, I once lived in a old printers shop, which stood on this land. I was only renting it for 6 months as it was resumed to make access to the side street easier (which it didn't). The vacant land across the street had a house on it which was also resumed (and moved!).

If you look to your right, along the main road, there is a two story house. I actually lived there for most of my childhood. The small window on the bottom level is where my bedroom was. During Expo 88, we regularly had people stopping on the footpath to watch the fireworks, and from our verandah, you are able to see the water tower at Government Hill, the city skyline, and round to the RBH and Gateway (and almost everything in between). With binoculars, you're able to see dunes on the islands in the bay.

From the printers shop, you couldn't see anything. Luckily now that it is gone, it does give a nice view of the city skyline from this area, and a nice place to have a seat and watch the world whiz by. Especially at night.

BYOP

Edit: Went to check co-ords again. Ran into russelz, who showed me the errors of my ways with his GPS unit. My apologies to early searchers
