This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Hitchhiking on the Horizon is a GeoPets Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING. THIS HEDGEHOG COULD NEVER HIKE. IT CAN NEVER GET TO THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN. HE IS A CREATURE DESTINED FOR THE FIRM GROUND WITH LOW ALTITUDES. BUT I DREAM BIGGER. I DREAM HIGHER. I HOPE TO HITCHHIKE WITH YOU, AND BE TAKEN ON HIKES ALL OVER THE WORLD. I AM RESTLESS AND HOPE THAT I FIND COMPANY WHO CAN HELP. PLEASE DON’T LET ME SIT IN THE CACHE CONTAINER TO BE LOST AND FORGOTTON - LET THIS HEDGE HOG HITCH HIKE THE HORIZONS!
