Fowler Ridge Wind Energy TB is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

This TB is being used to promote knowledge of alternative wind energy being developed in Benton County, IN (USA). The Fowler Ridge Wind Farm is currently under construction in Benton County, Indiana, around 90 miles northwest of Indianapolis. The wind farm will be completed in two phases and will have a maximum generating capacity of 750 MW total. The Fowler Ridge Wind Energy Project is the largest wind energy project in the world today (9/08).
