This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Alaska Caboose is a Holiday Bell Travel Bug Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

I want to go to Alaska. I haven't been there and I hope to get there sooner or later. So until I can get there I am sending this Travel Bug in my place. Anywhere in Alaska will do I will even settle for a plate of baked Alaska at a restaurant of your choice. Thanks for the help on getting me to the great frontier of our largest state in the union.

 

Cabooses used to be used on the tail end of all freight trains but due to rampant cost cutting and technology they are rarely used anymore. There are some parks and museums around that have Cabooses on display and many of those has a geocache on it or nearby. It would be great to visit some of them along my way to Alaska.
