Remembering Our Fallen Firefighters Geocoin is a USA Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

This Geo coin is dedicated to all of the brothers and sisters who have lost their life in the line of duty in the fire service. From 1981-2004 there has been 2950 firefighters who have lost there life in the line of duty in the United States of America, District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico, The goal of this coin is to make it as close as possible to the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitisburg Maryland and to visit the Fallen Firefighters Memorial there. After I made it to my goal location, feel free to send me any where in the United States. I would like ever one who touches this coin to stop, and take a second and give a silent thanks to ever one out there in the fire service, from the 911 call takers and dispatchers to the chief of the department, from the small rural volunteer department ,the wild land firefighters, to the big city career departments. They are out there doing the same job, doing there best to protect our life and property.
