Karihuskampen, Fagernes in Valdres Karihuskampen is a place where it in 1939-1940 was a millitary guard post who had the task to alert when airplanes was flying over the country.
This was to ensure the Norwegian neutrality during the Winter War between the Soviet Union and Finland.

Leira in Valdres in connection with the dissolution of the union with Sweden in 1905, someone painted the norwegian flag on this cliffwall. Its still there and this is a popular place wisiting.
