H.N.'s Adventures

This TB is a little hiking boot dedicated to my mom, Heading North, on her birthday. We've enjoyed lots of fun hikes together and we both look forward to tracking the adventures of this little TB.

Spent the morning geocaching and enjoying a beautiful drive along the arm. Sun was shining and the view was amazing (as usual). Hoping that Heading North will be up for a visit soon--then together we can send this TB off for a grand adventure!

Took TB on an afternoon of skiing in Kincaid Park. Great day to be out--sun was shining and the trails were groomed nicely.

Enjoyed a beautiful afternoon watching the start of the Iditarod. We watched from the trail near Goose Lake in Anchorage. Boys had a great time cheering on the teams as they raced by. Good times!

Past week or so has been a little to cold to take the kids out geocaching. It has finally warmed up and so we packed up for a little cross-country skiing adventure. Enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and peaceful trails. Great day to be out--feel fortunate to have access to such wonderful trails! It's a skiers paradise!

Welcome to Anchorage, Alaska! It was a nice trip home--about 13 hours with a short stop in Salt Lake City, Utah. Once we're unpacked and have caught up on rest we'll get out and have a few adventures together.
