Xochi TB - The Scarlet Macaw Travel Bug

Xochi the macaw is an original keychain trinket sculpture made by Fleebings out of Sculpey Clay. She was born in Aloha, Oregon on a lazy, sunny, August afternoon in the year of 2004.

However, now Xochi is lost and cannot find her way home. Will you be able to help her? She is trying to make her way back to the northwestern United States - specifically, the Beaverton/Aloha, Oregon area (near Portland). She'd like to see as many places as possible along the way, but ultimately will need to move in a westernly direction.

I'd love to read log entries and see photographs of her adventues along the way!

Xochi is home! After two and a half years touring the US, Xochi has finally made it back to our home in Aloha.

She's just a little worse for the wear - a broken foot and some peeling glaze. Otherwise, she's in good shape.

This is our first travel bug release that has actually made it back after being out "on the road". So cool!

Thank you to everybody who helped move her along!

Xochi is almost home after two and a half years in the wild! Please leave her in the Embassy cache unless you have plans to move her closer to the Beaverton/Aloha area. I plan to be out at the airport on March 19th and am hoping to be reunited with her that morning.
