Current Goal

No one ever says it WAS good to be the king. No, they say it IS good to be the king! Unfortunately, I must currently profess the latter. As the result of a misguided advertising campaign I am now known as ‘the leader formerly known as king.’ Burger King has hired, an undoubtedly, struggling actor to wear an oversized ridiculous-looking fake head to parade around as if he were me. It is my desire to prove victorious over this imposter king and take my rightful place at the at the Whopper throne with my French fry scepter. This is where you come in. If I am to reclaim my throne, I need your help! I need inside information. The kind that dethroned kings are not privy to. I need to spend some time inside Burger King restaurants where I will begin to collect intelligence and further formulate my strategies. For your help I will be most grateful. To all those who help me, I declare, when I return to power, I will bestow upon you an honorable title, such as: Duke, or Duchess. Go in peace.

I am a bronze coin shaped like a playing card. On one side there is a picture of me in all my kingly grandeur, and I am holding, of course, my trusty GPSr. On the other side of the coin lays the words, ‘Cache is King’ and ‘Long Live the King.’ Long live the king indeed! This coin is intended to travel from cache to cache. PLEASE do not keep this coin or take this coin if you do not intend to move it along. Please feel free to post pictures of my strategy sessions.

Took a walk hauling both boys three and half miles in the wagon for this photo. Not that I don't need the exercise! We let the boys have some ice cream before we made it this far at a local ice cream store. Since there have not been any photos of this coin at its mission I figured this would help it before it gets placed in another cache.

Coolest coin we've found so far! It's been in the wild for over a year and not one picture of it inside a Burger King! I loathe fast food but we're going to get some shots anyways. We'll get a few "inside" photos and move it along. Give us a couple weeks.
