    Found on an adventure into Minnekhada Park. We came across a real mama bear and her cub! Changed trails but second trail had way too many mosquitos. Went back to car and drove around park to the cool 1930s lodge to look for the toadlets that were supposed to be out - but it seemed that others scared them off the path into the creeks. It was an adventure for sure! We found this in our 300th find! Thank you!

    Picked this little guy up from Haines because I love Grizzly Bears! I hope he doesn't mind a little side trip to BC?? I will try to leave him somewhere where he can get back to the USA soon! :)

    First port of call on the cruise ship was Haines, Alaska. This is a quirky, small town that the show 'Northern Exposure' was modeled after. Here's an example of quirky -- one of the 3 museums in town is all about Hammers! This guy collected over 6,000 of them and decided to start a museum. This seemed like a great place to leave your travel bug. Hope it has more fun adventures and doesn't go missing on you again. Loved moving him along for you!

    This morning we are in Seward Alaska, where we finally board our cruise ship. This cache was right next to the cruise terminal.

    Tonight we are staying at the Alyeska Ski Resort. This cache was near the top of the ski slopes accessible by Tramway from the hotel. The views here were spectacular. Tomorrow we board our cruise ship and head further south down the coast.
