Luke is traveling to Alabama for the winter!
Any movement south of Boston is appreciated!
German Shepherd Luke was a retired US Military Service Dog that my father adopted in Metropolitan Boston. He passed away in September, 2021 approaching 13 years old. When my dad adopted Luke, he was down in Alabama and was transported up to New England, where we linked up with him in CT.
Luke spent his retired years with my dad, who is a retired News Photographer. Like all German Shepherds, he was fantastic and we will certainly miss him. This photo shows his much younger cousin, K9 Apollo, who spent a lot of time with him and enjoyed being around the 'Senior' Shepherd.
