About This Item

Bear of Wyrd

The Web of wyrd is an old Norse symbol that depicts the connection of the fates. It is a representation of the past, present, and future. For the Vikings, the Web of wyrd was a reminder that their past deeds not only affect the present but the future as well.

The symbol gained a special meaning to me after events in my own life. I hope it makes the different people through whose hands (and caches) it passes think about how their own decisions weave together past and future.
