Welcome to one of my hidden geocaches, I took you along on a maintenance run today as I had a recent dnf from a fellow cacher. Ballyloughane beach. The beach is an important nursery area for juvenile flat fish such as plaice and flounder, as well as providing a home for brown shrimp, sand hoppers, seaweeds and crabs. It is a fantastic place to visit at low tide.

Welcome to the River Maigue, Atlantic salmon are the most iconic of the maigue fish. I have fished this river many times myself in the past, it is such a fantastic spot to both fish and visit for its scenic views.

At this cache you will see a memorial placed for a local man who dedicated his life to fishing and helped the tulla angeling club succeed in many ways. Such a lovely tribute from the people of tulla. Cache in trash out ♻️🚮😃
