About This Item

This is a real coin ...not a copy

Race Goal
The goal of the race is to have travel bugs and Geocoins race across Canada between
April 1st, 2008 and October 1st, 2008.

The Categories:
1. The most miles
2. The most caches visited
3. The most attractions visited
4. Overall winner

The Rules:
1. All travel bugs/ geocoins must have no miles on them when placed in the cache.
2. The travel bug can be placed on or after April 1st for the race start.
You can start a bug later but with the obvious disadvantage of starting
late.
3. The travel bug can start in any cache in BC.
4. No more than three travel bugs per profile.
5. You may not move your own travel bug.
6. All travel bugs must be trackable at GC.com
7. You don't have to be a PGCachers Member to participate in the race
8. for most miles traveled category bug cannot skip a province.

Once the travel bug is placed you email the tracking number to Travelbug. Race. We will update the web site (PGCachers.com) with progress each
week. All bugs will be tracked till October 1,2008 for the this event.
Those out side of British Columbia that want to participate can mail there
travel bugs to PGcachers for the address or a friend in BC to start the race in a BC cache.

A tie in any one category will be broken by using one of the other categories,
as added criteria to break it. IE if there is a tie in the most miles
traveled then we will use the most caches visited as the tie breaker.

For the most attractions visited category we will use the website: Roadside
Attractions for the list of attractions. The goal of this category
is for your travel bug to have its picture taken with as many of these
attractions as it travels across Canada. For each one it visits your travel
bug will receive a bonus of 100 kilometers towards the overall winner
title.
