Current Goal

Poor Ahkned. He became separated from him Mummy back during the 3rd Dynasty in Egypt. He was a stonemason helping Imhotep build the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. After lunch on one particularly hot day, he crawled into a sarcophagus to take a short nap and awoke 4600 years later in the middle of a traveling Egyptian artifact art exhibit in Hickory, North Carolina. He couldn't find anyone he recognized and when he tried to ask for directions back to Egypt, everyone ran away screaming. And he thought the South was supposed to be so friendly. Ahkned would like your assistance in helping him find his mummy. He's sure she's here in the U.S. somewhere, he just doesn't know where. Do you suppose you could help him on his way? He would be SO appreciative. If you're helpful to him, he may even refrain from throwing the curse of Tutankhamen on you.

About This Item

I Want My Mummy

Ahkned was rescued from another cache "Treasures From My First 100 Caches" earlier this summer and was turned into a travel bug. I think he will enjoy this much more than being a mere guardian of a set of keys.

Grabbed this one just in time, as I am a school teacher, and we are ready to begin our Ancient Egypt unit. Will take this one into school to show the kids before dropping it off. Maybe it'll find it's "mummy" when we read our text.
