This Geocoin from Munich would like to go to the places to which we - team Knopfauge - went into our holidays 1997 and 2001 in the southwest of the USA and wants discover new, interesting places.

Our tour 1997:
Los Angeles (Hollywood, Disney Land, Santa Barbara, Van Nuys Airport) - San Diego - Lake Havasu City - Grand Canyon (with the hike down to the river) - Monoument Valley (two days riding) - Glen Canyon - Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon (snow in the night) - Route 66 to Seligman - Las Vegas - Death Valley (a short hike) - Mono Lake - Yosemite (go climbing) - Sacramento - San Francisco (exploring the night life) - Scenic Hwy to Santa Barbara - Los Angeles

Our tour 2001:
Phoenix - Tucson - San Guaro NP (long hikes) - Biosphere II - Tombstone - Bisbee - Las Cruces - White Sands NP - Carlsbad Caverns - Roswell - Socorro - VLA - Albuquerque - Santa Fe - Mesa Verde - Durango (a ride with the Durango-Silvertone-RR) - Canyon Lands NP South - Moab (flying with a Cessna a day) - Canyon Lands NP North - Arches - Goblin SP - Capitol Reef (nice climbing) - Bryce Canyon (one more night with snow) - Lake Powell - Antelope Valley - Las Vegas

The first cashe that we found, took us ver 4hrs of walking around before we found it. Our first ever sucessfull try! [red]Took the coin. [/red]I brought it to school today and have shown it to all of my students. Met some great people and we really enjoyed our time.
