Current Goal

We would like to try and keep our first trackable within the UK as we have found some beautiful places in the UK over the years for it to visit (it's also easier to explain the tracking map to a 4 year old). Ideally we want it to visit the locations below, but feel free to take it to over beautiful locations. Please take a photo upload it as part of the logs, lets fill this page with images not just words.

- Lulworth Cove, Dorset

- Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfalls, Wales

- Lake Windermere, Lake District

- Porthcurno, Cornwall

- Strathaird, Scottish Highlands

- Sherwood Forest

- LAvender Fields, Norfolk

- Chedder Cave, Somerset

- The Isles of Scilly

- Artgartan, Scotland

- Loch Lubnaig, Strathyre, Scotland

- Fingal's Cave, Scotland

About This Item

Cavera 2018

After 5 years with a few years off in between, we decided to release a trackable to show our 4 year old what a trackable is and how far it can travel within the UK. He just wanted it to visit his school but that would be much of a journey.

Not sure why we picked a skull but that what you get for leaving it to a 4 year old to pic the image....

NFC - This trackable has an NFC cache attached, nothing special but if you scan it with an NFC enabled phone, it should take you straight to the logging page.

Visited 7/11/2021 Berrington gang took it to Poppy and Maisys cache Eastern England, United Kingdom - 9.17 miles  Visit Log

Taking the gang to the creek for a cooling dip, just had to collect this very nice cache.
All snuggled safely inside Pucks porch.
Now onward to the sea, splash splash!

Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #1 Twit Twoo Eastern England, United Kingdom - .16 miles  Visit Log

Well we found a cat, a green boat, half a jar of honey and a fiver.
Oh yes and something else, this must be a very wise old cache.

Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #2 A Bolt from the Blue Eastern England, United Kingdom - .49 miles  Visit Log

Oh dear, oh dear, we need to think for this one.
Passers by think we must be nuts sitting and muttering.
In a rat?! On the plate?! At a loss?!
Well anyway, we managed to recall what letters followed A&B, eventually!

Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #5 A Tiny One Eastern England, United Kingdom - .13 miles  Visit Log

We found the pillbox buried in the shingle!
Mrs BG spotted the cache and left me to complete the paperwork whilst the gang hurtled over the shingle towards the sea. SPLASH! Time for our picnic lunch methinks.

  • View along the beach
Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #6 Lake View Eastern England, United Kingdom - .23 miles  Visit Log

Lovely views of the lake with swans and ducks on the water whilst the cattle graze in the background.
Must say one duck did look to be in distress, seemed particularly constipated😆😆

Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #3 Nocturnal Eastern England, United Kingdom - .2 miles  Visit Log

We batled or way up the steep slope and felt as though our blood had been drained as we sank into the seat.
Fantastic views from here.
Then it started to rain, we took refuge in the virtual cave.
It’s not stopping raining so we’re going to be like a pop group, wet wet wet!

Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to `Silent Sentinel` Kelling (N Norfolk) Eastern England, United Kingdom - .17 miles  Visit Log

Wow, this is a very venerable cache, over twenty years old.
Must say MrsBG sorted out the spot to search then took two steps smartly back whilst I was thrust through the defence of thorns/nettles/rabbit holes etc etc.
All well with the cache, left TB “the first 30” to continue its journey.
Fav point for venerability.

Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #4 Gunners Corner Eastern England, United Kingdom - .21 miles  Visit Log

Following a picnic lunch on the seashore, with the gang taking the opportunity for another dip, we’re back on track again.
Having had the fun of completing the puzzle we now had the fun of the cache.
Nice easy find here and very imposing emplacements to look at along the way.

  • Coastal artillery
Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #7 Lonesome Tree Eastern England, United Kingdom - .2 miles  Visit Log

Mrs BGs eagle eye soon spotted the prize and she was off like a rocket, on the trail of the lonesome pine.
Well nearly!
Great views across the quag from here.

Visited 7/10/2021 Berrington gang took it to Kelling Konundrum #8 Off the Beaten Track Eastern England, United Kingdom - .11 miles  Visit Log

We were pining for somewhere to rest and the shady spot just filled the bill.
Mrs BG made a very swift find here, cleverly made cache host, mine just fall apart!
Fav point for this one!
