In a paid partnership with Disney Channel, Geocaching is teaming up with DuckTales to release Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby trackables.
The second brother hatched and dealing with classic middle-child syndrome, Dewey is always looking for ways to stand out from the crowd. Dubbed “The Guts”, Dewey is quick to throw himself into dangerous situations without thinking, just to prove himself. Deep down he’s worried that he’s just an ordinary duck so he’s constantly itching to make a name for himself. He’s also the one who is most curious about his family history, particularly the disappearance of his mother.
Dewey and his brothers Huey and Louie, and cousin Webby are in for an epic surprise as they embark on a globe-trotting adventure and treasure hunt. We have used the SchuckTales name ever since I started a web page online 25 years ago (SchuckTales.com - no longer active) as a way to tell the world about our tales. It was a direct reference to DuckTales, that my wife and I both grew up watching. When we started geocaching it seemed like a logical name for this new series of adventures. For this trackable, we would like its final destination to be Top Gear - Fun Ford Lads! (https://coord.info/GC11WMT), a geocache hidden near the Dunsfold Aerodrome, and home to the filming location for the BBC's Top Gear. Our entire family are huge fans of Top Gear, both the original with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, and the new version with Matt LeBlanc, Rory Reid, and Chris Harris. (Chris Evans sucks). We also are huge fans of Amazons The Grand Tour, so after our trackable has reach this geocache, we will find a new destination with a Grand Tour theme.
