Current Goal

This travel bug was placed in a cache near the beach  outside Sanyang, The Gambia in 2007. The cache was created by a Scouting group from Nova Scotia, Yukon and British Columbia  working on a Scout camp in the area.
The registration/activation was delayed as the tag info was lost  only resurfacing in 2011!

 We wish the bug to Travel around Africa and Europe and hope someday it will make it's way back to Enfield Nova Scotia to visit for a short time with it's owners before being released again for another journey.

    My curiosity forced me to return to the cache, almost fourteen years after my first visit. No trackable seen, as misspiggy70 reported in October 2016. In the log-book (still the original from December 2002!) was a log August 13 (not 30), 2016 by "Mikael & Linnéa" saying: Tog "travelbug" och för den vidare = Took travel bug and will take it further.

    "Mikael & Linnéa" is, as far as I have seen, not a registered user-name, and they have not logged their visit at the cache's home page under any other name. Both Mikael and Linnéa are not unusual as first name in Sweden. I have tried to "google" the words geocaching, mikael and linnea, but with no significant answers.

    Let us hope that the TB will appear soon in another cache.

    Sending this TB back to Gambia to start a new journey. Fitted a dolphin to go with it on it's future travels and hope it stays safe after holding onto it for so long over many miles.
