Current Goal

To travel from cacher to cacher around and around and demonstrate the kindness of strangers. I've always liked the saying, "There's no such thing as strangers, only friends you haven't met yet."

About This Item

4 F's.jpg

Please give it to another cacher directly after "dipping it" into a cache you find.
(Pictures of this handoff would be greatly appreciated!)

I was given this coin by a kind stranger, so I'd like to see it passed between more strangers (and friends). Please let another cacher "grab" it from you. Preferably after you've dipped it into a cache. (Please only "drop" it in a cache if you plan to immediately "retrieve" it). That way, the coin can get credit for mileage without ever being left behind.

If you don't know other local cachers, you could always send a note to one and meet up, you won't be strangers anymore! (They'll even get a geocoin icon out of the deal). Of course, uploaded pictures at a cache, or of the cachers meeting up would be awesome!! Hopefully, this coin will never go missing since it will always move directly from cacher to cacher without the chance of muggle (or sneaky collector) intervention. Thanks and happy caching!

Hi again! Looks like someone who was not Maingray decided to hand this to me at an event back in Greensboro, NC. 🙂 This time, I have actually taken possession of the coin and will try to hand it off to another unsuspecting victim, err, I mean another fine geocacher soon. 😉 Coin and instructions are still in good shape.

Well, I did at least get to meet another geocacher I really didn't know, so, mission accomplished! 🙂 Thanks again for sharing -- Cache on and be safe!

Grabbed from Dogsgo2 at the final for " Don't Be Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf " (GCT7M7). They were gonna drop it in there, but now I see that it just wants to be grabbed... so grab it is!

Sorry that we missed a hand-off picture. But since I always carry a camera and now I know, I'll try to get one next time.

We met Maingray for the first time when we participated in the group that went after Bushwhack Jack's Basic Training. We enjoyed meeting cachers there. What a nice idea for a coin, and we look forward to passing it along to another cacher soon.

Discovered It 4/6/2008 _c3_ discovered it   Visit Log

Greetings from North Carolina! I believe this is the 2nd coin/trackable of the owner's I have discovered. The last one was in his possession while attending an event in Lynchburg! Hope you're doing okay, PilotMike. Saw KI4AOA at the event in Roanoke, but I guess you couldn't make it. Oh well. Not many people showed up on a Monday evening for it. Any way, discovered this coin while it was trading between fellow geocachers in Raleigh, NC. Thanks for sharing the coin!
