This pretty black nickel coin is a personal coin for snow wolf. On the coin, which has a wilderness scene with a wolf howling at a G moon, is a bit by Thoreau: "In wilderness is the preservation of the world." Definitely words to live by.

We found this geocoin in Rocky Point at Patrick's Point State Park in Northern California. We've waited a few days for it to be logged and decided to log it as "grabbed" and get it back to its journey. We'll likely drop it in a local TB hotel in Cameron Park, CA.

SierraRider and I got this coin at a gathering in honor of a couple of Missoula cachers who were moving to Nebraska. SierraRider apparently never grabbed it from the event - but we finally discovered that it had never been dropped into the event in the first place! So - we picked it up at an event in Montana while it's appeared to be in a cache in California. Anyway..... we are grabbing it officially now (in June) and will move it along tomorrow at our local Cache Machine event. Sorry we sat on it for so long!
