About This Item

J.E.McKee, Rancher and Cowboy

J.E. McKee was born in Indian Territory (now Oklahoma). In 1942, he moved his family to California, where he passed away in 1966. He was my PaPa, who taught me to fish, and to shoot, and gave a .22 rifle for my 10th birthday.

What a nice tribute to your PaPa. We picked Elmer up today from a nice cache right on Soldiers Lake in Michigan's upper penninsula. There are a lot of great places in Michigan like this one so I'm sure we won't have any trouble finding another place for him to visit.
