Gnome Race Around the USA
against 8 crazy Gnomes. Please move GA Kepec, even if it is only to the next cache around the corner. Please be kind to
GA Kepec and her owner TRAM
by not holding onto the travel bug but by keeping
him moving. Please DO NOT take GA Kepec out of the USA! Thank you!
Background: RIF'd Carnival Gypsy, 7 years. Heard about Geocaching & Travel Bugs at the outplacement agency.
GA Kepec's
Mission:
To race around the continental USA visiting 5 of
the 8 different man made wonders and have her picture taken at each site for verification.
Cannon Mountain
Aerial Tramway, NH
Grand Central Station, NY
Mount Rushmore, SD
Hoover Dam, AZ NV
Golden Gate Bridge, CA
The Cloud Gate, Chicago IL
The Gateway Arch, MO
The Boeing Aircraft Assembly Plant, WA
when she has 5 of the 8 she needs to return to Ye Olde 41 Travel Bug Motel in Kennesaw, GA
to claim her prize and be retrieved by
her owner
TRAM.
Rules:
1. GA Kepec may visit any
man made Wonder at any given time, in any order.
2. GA Kepec must be photographed as close to the natural wonder as humanly possible, without trespassing of course. The
wonder's name along with
GA Kepec must be legible in the digital picture(s). The photo(s) must be uploaded to your log in order for
GA Kepec to get credit for the natural wonder visit.
3. GA Kepec must physically be put into a cache. No electronic "drop-ins" allowed. Someone else has to retrieve the bug after cache placement. Only 1
wonder visit allowed per cacher/team. Any other wonders visited by the same cacher/team will not count!
4. This is a US-based travel bug race only.
5. Once GA Kepec has reached the
5th man made Wonder she must make her way back to Ye Olde 41 Travel Bug Motel.
