To travel widely in the name of PEACE,
Attached to the bug is a cross made from nails. This cross is modelled on those made from nails found in the cathedral in Coventry (United Kingdom) which was almost completely destroyed by bombing during World War II.
The cross attached to the travel bug along with a prayer is to mark a walk for peace along the length of the Leeds to Liverpool canal in the North of England beginning 6th May 2018 and lasting for approximaely 10 days (127 miles). The journey begins, therefore, at a point adjacent to the canal.
