This is an audio adapter used on many holidays to Greece (and other destinations) usually on old battered Boeing 757 aircraft operated by Thomson holidays. Sadly in most cases no longer needed as personal audio system are now common place.
Note, the adapter due to the TB chain wont accept headphones so dont try to force them as it may damage your headphones.
