Current Goal

To travel to Wales and visit the 2016 MEGA event. Then to travel to as many caches around Wales as possible. It would be nice if it visited Benny's home town of Maesteg, Mid Glamorgan.

Maesteg is a town and community in Bridgend County Borough, Wales. Maesteg lies at the northernmost end of the Llynfi Valley, close to the border with Neath Port Talbot.

Any photographs of Benny's Ddraig in Wales would be appreciated (thank you).

Benny's Ddraig.

Benny (Benjamin) died a number of years ago of kidney failure and left a loving family of three sisters and two brothers, one of whom donated one of his own kidneys, which prolonged Benny's life.

The key-ring was Benny's, and with a front door key, never left his side!

Benny's father was a miner but due to ill health he had to give it up, and move the family to North Lincolnshire. The whole family were taken out of Wales, but you couldn't take Wales out of the family!

I found the key-ring a few months ago and knowing how much Benny missed his homeland, thought that I would attach a travel bug and Celtic Cross to it...and send a memento of Benny, back to roam around Wales, the place of his birth.
