We named him after a famous children's programme Portland Bill, which had a catchy tune. The tune : "Oh come with me, to the golden sea while the weathers calm and still,and we'll have some fun and laughter,with the adventures of Portland Bill"

Portland Bill was a cartoon series made in 1986 and shown on television in Great Britain. It was set in a fictional lighthouse called Guillemot Rock on the south coast of England. The setting is a copy of the real Portland Bill lighthouse and Isle of Portland with placenames changed. Any 30/40 somethings probably remembers it. Kids ask your Mum & Dad!!
