Current Goal

Wally has three goals:
1) He is longing to attend Spring Training in Fort Meyers, FL for the 2007 season.
2) He would love to have his picture taken atop the Green Monster in Fenway Park during the first series against the New York Yankees.
3) He would like to have his pictured taken outside or in any Major League Baseball park.

I grew up a dedicated Boston Red Sox fan. I am sure that many of you true diehard fans can relate to the heartbreak over the years. My first heartbreak came in 1975 when the Red Sox lost to the Reds in Game 7 of the World Series. Carlton Fisk became my idol after his historic homerun in Game 6. In 1978, I watched the lead diminish and lose in a playoff game. In 1986 - will anyone ever forget Bill Buckner's botched play? In 2003, Aaroon Boone broke my heart with his homerun. Then the miracles of all miracles happened in 2004 - the Red Sox became World Champions.

Please help me - it's Spring Training.........and I'm stuck in this cold and dark cache in Nebraska. We became World Champions last year (2007) and I never got close to a major league ballpark. I hope the next person who picks me up - helps me closer to goals. "Let's go RED SOX". RED SOX NATION.
