About This Item

Belgian Geocoin: draagt de figuur van Mercator, en heeft dus een speciale betekenis voor mij, geograaf van opleiding. Zonder zijn kaartprojectie zou geocaching ook niet zijn wat het nu is (UTM Wgs84= Universal Transverse Mercator Wgs84)
Belgian Geocoin: bears the picture of Mercator, and therefore has a special meaning to me, a geographer. Without his projection system geocaching would not have been what it is now (UTM Wgs84= Universal Transverse Mercator Wgs84)
