The moon and stars have always been celestial objects used for navigation and time.
This medallion was initially placed by Grammie (Cathy) Lewis in Houston, TX, who wants to watch these moon and stars travel around the world.
The medallion is made with a glow-in-the-dark enamel color and measures 1" diameter, so it fits easily in containers as small as 35mm. It also incIudes a 3.5" long chain to attach other items for the trip.
THE ORIGINAL TB WAS RE-RELEASED ON 6/9/24 AFTER THE PROXY DISAPPEARED FROM A CACHE WHERE IT HAD BEEN PLACED ALMOST A YEAR AGO!! THE PROXY HAD TRAVELED ABOUT 5,998 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED NEAR DERRY/LONDONDERRY, IRELAND!! THE ORIGINAL IS ATTACHED TO A 2" x 2" LAMINATE STATING THE TB’s MISSION ON ONE SIDE AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING TBs ON THE OTHER SIDE.
RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY ON 2/20/22 AFTER THE ORIGINAL WAS RETRIEVED OVER 30 MONTHS AGO, BUT HAS HAD NO ACTIVITY SINCE THEN, AND, AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS, WE WERE UNABLE TO GET THE GEOCACHER THAT RETRIEVED IT TO PLACE IT IN ANOTHER CACHE. IT HAD TRAVELED OVER 19.436 MILES BEFORE IT STOPPED MOVING NEAR BOISCHATEL, QUEBEC, CANADA!!
