The Engagement

We started in December 2014 from Germany towards Brazil to seek out the last APE cache "Mission 4: Southern Bowl (GCC67)".

When we arrived there "Junior Intervales" guided us to the very beautiful "Mirante (viewpoint)" on top of a huge hill in the Atlantic Rain Forest. Up there, gott18 proposed on December 13th, 2014 (12/13/14) to Foxendail and she accepted. The proposal was made in a distance of 415 meters to the APE.

The Wedding

After 1177 days of engagement we did the next step and married on March, 3rd 2018 in our home town Ingersheim in Germany. After a lot of discussions we decided to get some new rings for the wedding, but to keep the old tracking numbers of the engagement rings.

Honeymoon

And as stereotype Geocachers we spent most of the money for the wedding for the honeymoon trip. This means we had a three weeks cruise from Barbados via St. Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Antigua (here we took a helicopter trip to Montserrat as we already had a Geocache on Antigua), Dominican Republic, St. Vincent, Martinique, St. Kitts, over the Atlantic Ocean to the Azores, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

3rd Wedding Anniversary

Today we have the 03.03.2021 which is our 3rd wedding anniversary. At the beginning of this year our little family grew by one person, her Geocaching nickname is Melabefi. 5th Wedding Anniversary

Today we have the 03.03.2023 which is our 5th wedding anniversary. At the beginning of this year our little family grew by one person again, her Geocaching nickname is SolenaX.
