This trackable is a plasmid. Its goal it to travel from cache to cache, picking up new sequences of DNA as it goes (it just wants to see the world).

A plasmid is a ring of DNA that is sometimes found in bacteria. DNA is a molecule found in all life, that "codes" for a specific organism. It is what makes us different from other people and living things. It is in a double-helix, or twisted ladder shape that has different sequences of four repeating base pairs, or "rungs" of the ladder. A plasmid is simply a strand of DNA connected in a ring.
This rubber bracelet reminded me of a plasmid because it is in a ring and has a sequence of colors that could resemble base pair sequences. Even if you are not familiar with genetics, this trackable is still cool to see, touch, or even wear!
