Current Goal

Natasha and I picked up this Mardi Gras keychain in February 2004 while on a business trip/vacation in New Orleans. We are starting its journey in Las Vegas. We want the travel bug to travel back to New Orleans. Once there it then can roam wherever you want to take it so it can see as many caches as possible. Happy caching and happy traveling!!!!

Poor Mardi Gras Madness TB, so far from goal! With the big event not even a month away, sent out a plea to the local TB Mutual Aid Society, aka Southerntiergeocachers. The best offer was a ride to Tenn. with the Woodland Clan. However my trip thru their neck of the woods was cancelled, due to weather (NOT enough snow!). So the best I can do now is drop you off into a brand new cache that will be sure to get lots of visitors. To whomever grabs the Madness next, if you get Mardi Gras TB anywheres close to the Cortland, NY area, please drop Woodland Clan an e-mail about its whereabouts. Maybe they can retrieve Mardi Gras before their early Feb. trip. Thanks! And Mardi Gras TB, with all the bad news about the violence in the Big Easy these days, maybe a visit there next year instead isn't such a bad thing... Good Luck!

What a fancy TB! Perhaps the prettiest I have seen. Not sure how much I can help getting it towards the Crescent City, but will try. I'm told it's the place to be for great music. But the Louisiana musicians who played the local 2006 Chenango Blues Fest say things are sadly still very bad down there...

Picked this little guy up near the Erie Canal. I thought that I'd drop it off at a new TB Hotel in the area I am planning to visit while on February Break next week. She barely had time to get cold at her last stop. Will be dropping off soon.
