Castlebagger started its life in the shadow of caerphilly Castle. It was built in the latter half of the 13th century. It is supposed to be the second largest castle in Britain, and is known for its leaning tower which has a greater degree of lean than the the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It is open to the public and is well worth a visit.
