Retrieve It from a Cache 9/22/2008 cazippler retrieved it from CSRA Geocachers September Meeting South Carolina   Visit Log

Gabe and cazippler grabbed this TB from the CSRA meeting in North Augusta SC. It is on the state line next to Augusta Ga. home of the Masters golf tour. The state bird for SC is The Carolina Wren. It is a noisy bird that likes to sing. They sound a lot like a Cardinal When they call. The state shell is the letter Olive. It looks like some one wrote letters on the shell. You can find them on all of our beaches. We grow lots of peaches here, even more than GA which calls it's self the peach state. You can see mountains in the morning in SC, and beaches in the afternoon if you drive across the state. You can do this drive in about 6 hrs.
