UPDATE (Feb 2017):
When we placed this guy in a geocache on April 12, 2014 I never would have believed he would travel this far. We thought we were being ambitious with our goal of getting him to Florida. So far there has been 631 log entries and he's traveled 50,743 miles. This is beyond our wildest dreams when he was first set out into the Geocaching World. Thank you so much for all of your help. Some of you moved him from one to another, and some of you took him on quite an adventure. Thank you all!!
I have searched the logs, and he's been to every state except Arkansas and Hawaii. He's even been to a few other countries. So our updated list is as follows: AL, AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NH, NC, NY, ND, OH, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, and WY.
I am not sure why the map doesn't show all these states, but I checked to logs and the listed states have been visited. Not sure if it's a logging thing. We have so much fun watching him travel.
Let's see if we can keep him moving...Thank you!
UPDATED (March 2016):
This trackable has taken on a life of its own!! So far it has reached 29 states, Canada, and Mexico. We love watching it travel on the map. Listed are the states it still needs to travel to reach all of the states in the continental United States: AK, CO, CT, ID, IA, ME, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, ND, OH, OR, SD, UT, WA, WI, and WY. Hopefully we'll also be able to eventually add HI and AK.
A big THANK YOU to all that have helped get this around. As of March 20th, he's traveled 23,031 miles, that is amazing. Let's keep this going!
UPDATE (October 2015): Thank you all so much for helping this little guy along. From April 2014 to October 2016, it has traveled almost 15,000 miles. That is incredible. My boys love looking at the map to see how far and where their little frog has traveled. I would like to keep this going by changing the name to 'ALL 50 STATES??' - since our original objective has been reached. I am not really a veteran to the Geocaching community, so I'm hoping this is not breaking a rule.
ORIGINAL (April 2014): My 6-year-old son would like this coin to make it's way to Florida. He received this as a present. Thank you for helping!
