Smokey Bear wants to travel from cache to cache and to visit public lands (National Forests, National Parks, National Grasslands, National Monuments, etc.) throughout the world to deliver his message "Only Your Can Prevent Wildfires". Smokey would also like to visit his Museum, Smoke Jump Centers, Airtanker Bases, etc.

Smokey Bear is a plush 5 inches (13 cm) tall stuffed toy key chain with a travel bug dog tag attached. He has a strong desire to visit as many places as he can, then return home to Navtech.

I've fixed him up...laminated the Smokey Bear information and Pic...maybe it will stay on through the rest of his journey!!!

first time we've "grabbed" a travel bug...
we are trying to think of the best place in North Alabama to "drop off"
Wondering about missing stuffed bear...think we need to attach
something/laminated picture maybe...since Smokey Bear is its name...

to fix him up before we put him back on the road...

trying to decide if we will place him in local Bankhead National Forest...or wait 3 weeks and place him in Smoky Mountain National Forest...??
