Padre Pio, now Saint Pio, prayed a lot and believed in the power of prayer. One of his most notable quotes is “Pray, Hope and Don’t Worry,” hence the name of this trackable. Padre Pio does not have a particular mission. The goal would be that he helps at least one person in his travels, whether it is spiritually, emotionally or physically. And our hope is, if you are so inclined, that you say a little prayer if you find Padre Pio.
This is our second time putting Padre Pio out there. The last time he was picked up and never moved. Despite several emails to the folks who picked him up the first time, he still has not shown up anywhere. So, please, keep moving this Padre along!! Thanks!!
Padre Pio was a capuchin priest from Italy who bore the stigmata. He is well known for healing. He was born on May 25, 1887 and died on September 23, 1968, which is now his Feast Day. Padre Pio’s life long mission was to help those in need and he did so in many ways including building a hospital, next the friary where he lived. It is called the Home for the Relief of Suffering and is one of the best hospitals in Italy today. Perhaps when you find this trackable you will say a little prayer.
