Extraterrestrial Scout Vehicle

To make peacful contact with Humans for the purpose of peaceful coexistence. And, it's not a scam, really!

This coin represents a vehicle used by extraterrestrial visitors to Earth. 

The actual vehicle was manufactured and operates with technology not yet harnessed by humans on Earth. There is no hostile intent unless hostilities are required.

Most humans don't believe in extraterrestrial visitors and of those who do, 62.3% believe all visitations are of hostile intent.¹

Although not hostile by nature, these beings WILL defend themselves should hostile actions be taken against them. In that event, they possess technology to deal with those situations, both non-lethal and lethal. They will ALWAYS start with non-lethal and elevate appropriately as needed.²

The reasons for these visitations is to get to know the Human race  and eventually integrate our cultures into one for no other reason but to co-exist in peace due to the destruction of their planet when their star went supernova. The survivors that visit us just happened to be on a different exploration mission having been told that the increased activity of their sun was simply normal Coronal Mass Ejections, a common and frequent behavior of their sun. Boy, were their leaders wrong and it really pissed these guys off.³

As a token of good will, anyone experiencing physical contact with these beings is given this emblem, a fleet logo not unlike our own military's unit identification patches. As you can imagine, these contacts are so rare that no one is really sure if they actually happened or not. In fact, it is said that the experience is so surreal that those involved will believe it to have been just a dream.

What you are holding is an aluminum reproduction of the actual coin as the materials used to create the coin do not exist on earth. Most of the hull is constructed of kandelite which is an alloy made using Tallonium and heatamite. Did you ever see the Terminator where the shiny liquid metal robot can take on multiple forms and attract his pieces back to himself? Well, this is nothing like that at all.⁴

This coin is extremely rare with only a few trillion in existence today. Because of this, please try to keep this coin moving so that it does not get lost.

¹ These statistics are based on a comprehensive study done by a person at one time or another, probably in a secret hanger in Area 51. Or, at least I think the study was conducted. It was pretty much on the down low due to the high security and secrecy of the project, so no one probably really knows about it. The number, however, is acccurate as far as you know.

² Based on an interview with a self-described peaceful visitor who had set up a vendor stand at Comic-Com. He was surprisingly articulate and was able to speak with only the faintest hint of clicking and skittering sounds.

³Apparently, pissed off is not an adequate word to describe how they felt about their inept, arrogant and downright stupid governmental leaders. The word they normally use to describe this feeling has no translation to English but would be something like intense soul searing hatred that makes you physically ill.

⁴ The natural resources on the planet from where they hail have qualities that would seem magical to us. They are extremely dense yet pliable like modeling clay able to repel magnetic forces at 100 times the velocity they were hit with.
