Current Goal

Take me to any musical places. Mainly places with classical musical history or anything to do with classical music at all. (ie.concert hall, composer's house, place of importance to musical society) I would love to read the logs and see photos of this cello bridge at those places. And please do take care of this cello bridge well. It is very precious to me.

Cello Bridge 2005

This cello bridge was from my cello when I bought it from my ex-teacher in Thailand, in 2005. There are generally 2 styles of bridge: Belgian and French. You can easily find the information from google. It is obviously stamped on the bridge that it is a french bridge. But the style is actually slightly hybrid. The belgian bridge offers a rather direct, powerful, strong projection in sound. The French bridge offers more mellow, round, resonant but tend to be generally inferior in projection. These are the general overview. Of course, it depends on the character of each instruments. My cello loved this bridge...until it was too worn out and I had to change eventually. This bridge is "my precious". wink So please take care of it well while traveling. Thank you!
