Dropped Off 7/29/2019 Wombatwandering placed it in Tower Bridge TB HOTEL London, United Kingdom - 1.4 miles  Visit Log

Goodbye Jung and Parkinson, it’s time to let you have some new adventures. I’ve dropped you off in tourist central London on the banks of the Thames, across the River from the Tower of London. London is my home so I’m staying here but I hope you get some more kilometres! Good luck. 💂‍♀️

Beautiful warm night in London for a 10 Years Geocaching London Event on a beach along the Thames right in town. Sandcastles, inflatable unicorns, mojitos - Beach party! 🎏

Time for a recovery day at the beach. It’s going to be 39c in London today, only 29 in Bournemouth. I wanted to stay another night but Geocachpro and CuteOtter are desperate to get back to London. Super crowded at the beach but surprisingly not too many in the water. Had a great day. Goodbye coastal UK, outstandingly beautiful. 🏖

The End! The last cache of the South West Coast Path. We made it! 1014 km plus diversions, 61 days, 35,000m climbed, numerous cream teas, lots of nettle stings, several tantrums, but only three days with rain. What an awesome hike! Pity it finished with the five minute ferry to Poole being broken and now we have to take a bus for two hours. 🎉

Rounding the headland at the gorgeous Old Harry Rocks. We can see the end of the South West Coast Path but there are still several kilometres to go. 😎

Day 11, our final day on the South West Coast Path, Swanage to the End (Shell Beach). Decided to have a celebratory ice cream before leaving Swanage. You also got to see the beach preserving groynes that CuteOtter had to study for Geography GCSE. 🧜🏻‍♀️

Visited 7/23/2019 Wombatwandering took it to Beautiful Dorset 1: The Globe Southern England, United Kingdom - 4.75 miles  Visit Log

You’ve made it to the outskirts of Swanage and the end of the quiet paths. We can see Old Harry Rocks ahead and we know the end of the SWCP is sort of just around from them. 🍦

Visited 7/23/2019 Wombatwandering took it to Rest a while and reflect Southern England, United Kingdom - 3.41 miles  Visit Log

Day 10, Kingston to Swanage. Our penultimate day of the entire SWCP. Some steep up and downs today but first we took a rough path off the trail and down to Chapman’s Pool which has lots of fossils in the Kimmeridge clay. 🐚

Visited 7/22/2019 Wombatwandering took it to Dorset Series Earthcache (Kimmeridge) Southern England, United Kingdom - 4.22 miles  Visit Log

You made it back to the Coast Path proper at 6.30pm but there was still two hours of walking to go. Kimmeridge is an important fossil site and gives its name to a stage of the Jurassic. No time for fossils today though. Made it to the pub at Kingston just before they stopped serving dinner. All up, 42kms today. 🦴
