Picked this up on a late summers day in Ithaca. Will take it with me to a few locations, one other country, and then hand it to my sister who will take it to yet another county. Hopefully we have a few more weeks of warm weather before the Fall colours appear when there will be plenty of opportunities for a good Fall photo.

A customer of the company I work for is new to geocaching and brought this in to ask my what it was. He gathered it was a geocoin but could not find a way to track it. I found the tracking code for him and figured I ought to make the discovery myself. Cool coin.

I retrieved this very cool coin, but wasn't sure what I was supposed to do with it.

Then this morning (1/22/14) I got an email from Adrienne with some help. I also took it down to a friend with much more experience, and he explained all.

I will submit this note, but I was looking for a way to attach a photo of it in ten below weather.
